The Church of Scotland has shared news of our travels with some local newspapers. It has been nice reading the stories, though one headline about ‘taking on slave trade’ seems ambitious!
Not sure what to make of the interest really, but for now we’re encouraged to contribute to a positive story about Christianity! Perhaps Christians are more interesting when they’re far away with cute children.
The Galloway News – Kirkcudbright man heads to Malawi…
Galloway Gazette – Our Gary takes on slave trade
Church of Scotland – Family moves 6,500 miles for their faith
Also the Kirintilloch Herald and Bishopbriggs Herald but they aren’t available online.

Spring is coming here – the squirrels are back at the bird’s food and the crocus (what is the plural?!) out in the garden. Having said that the gritter has just gone by!! See what you are missing?! Variety – 4 seasons in a day.
Love you guys. Missing you but glad you are there!
Thanks, Eunice! The Kirkie Herald article didn’t go online so I couldn’t put a link here.
We’ve had a break in the rains for a few days here so the temperature has been getting up over 30 degrees. We (and the garden) would like to see the rain again soon!
