Muli bwanji?

Welcome to our wee blog! This is Gary with some big news from the Brough family. From the end of the year we’re saying “see you later Scotland’ and “Muli bwanji Malawi” (this isn’t great Chichewa, but we’re new)!

I am taking up a role with the Church and Society Programme in Mzuzu, northern Malawi, as a mission partner of the Church of Scotland. I’ll share more about that in the weeks to come (and as I learn what that will mean).

I’ll be heading to Malawi from mid-November and returning before Christmas. At that point Jacqueline will be finishing up at work, Eilidh wrapping up at school and the house will be going up for rent. And Morven? Well, she’ll likely be smiling her way through the whole thing.

Then, in early January, we’ll be heading off on our Malawi adventure.

We’d really appreciate your prayers through this transition period. We’re excited to be following God’s call and for what he’ll do in and through us over the next three years. We’ve set up this blog so those who are interested, can share that journey with us.

Blessings,

The Broughs
